This pattern is classic Geoffrey Beene - sporty with beautiful detailing. We were curious about how the pocket was constructed so we opened up to peek at the instructions. The pockets are cleverly worked in to the seam that runs horizontally. The pocket is actually regular in size and the top stitching is matched to the top stitch on the jacket body to create the optical illusion that the stitching is one continuous line.
You'll want to make this with unraveling fleece, leather or lightweight melton.
